I write this from my boyfriends small prison-like (due to the white painted brick walls) bedroom in Hertfordshire. I suppose its not that bad. Although, the entire block is being knocked down at the end of this year, so maybe that says something. Anyway, the end of my trip has arrived, as I am off home in a few hours and Jake is coming with me which is nice. He breaks up for Easter and I have practically finished my first year at uni, so it will be nice to have a few more weeks together before I have my op. It is weird thinking that my first year is over. I don't feel like I've been at uni long enough to no longer be a fresher. It's a sad time. Haha :D I can say that one really odd thing about not being at university, is not being able to knock on Charlotte and Eilish's doors for a quick chat whenever I fancy. I do miss them. God, what am I going to be like by the end of summer!? But, before I start going off on a tangent, I need to tell you about my trip. It was fun and really lovely getting to spend some time with Jake. We went shopping a few times and I finally got to meet some of his friends. Whom all seem lovely. We also went out on Wednesday, but I ended up falling asleep before actually making it out. As I said in my last post, it was Jake and my 4 year anniversary whilst I was visiting so we cooked a roast together, which actually turned out exactly the way we like it. Although it was missing cauliflower cheese and my mums homemade gravy. Still, for my first time cooking one, it was great. Jake brought me lots of colouring books and pencils as well as an "I.O.U" for something to keep me occupied when I will be stuck sitting on the sofa. I am a young child at heart. | . . . I am home! Currently sitting on my laptop with football on in the background with my family. Mum made a reaaaaally nice curry for dinner. It's always nice to come home to homemade cooking. Definitely looking forward to these next few weeks as well. I'm treating myself with my leftover birthday money to get my hair done tomorrow, I have been promised a dinner brought for me by Jake for our anniversary (the I.O.U) and I'm looking forward to catching up with some of my family. Plus it's Easter, and even though I am meant to be watching what I eat, I am certain they'll be loads of chocolate. I'm sure I will be posting some time during next week with another update on my exciting life. Have a good few days, chat soon. Leanne x |
