Good old Essex aye? Doesn't change a bit. It is nice to be home. I have finally unpacked all of the stuff and clothes that I brought home from university. My room is sorted and nearly finished being decorated. All I need is the last finishing touches like a new pillow and hanging up pictures. So what else have I been up to since I returned from Hatfield with Jake? Well, I had quite a busy weekend actually. I got my hair dyed for the first time on Saturday - I had been so excited and after a long 5 hours, it was finally done. I'm so pleased with it! Sunday, my family, Jake and myself all went for dinner at my Nan and Grandads. We always love going there. My Nan makes so much food; 3 meats for dinner, homemade sausage rolls, chicken goujons and loads to choose for dessert. We end up 2 sizes bigger when we leave. Can you tell that our family loves food? I would love to know if any of you have any family traditions or meals that you do often. Feel free to post a comment below! |
The rest of this week has been me trying to earn some money prior to my op, so luckily I have been able to get a few odd shifts at my old cafe. It has been great catching up with everyone that I used to work with as I do stay in touch with a lot of them.
Easter is finally approaching! I'm sure everyone who stuck to there promise to give up something for Lent is excited for Sunday. I tried to give up chocolate, but yet again my cravings could not be stopped. :( Good thing about Easter Sunday, is that we get a huge roast dinner to look forward to as well as seeing more family. What do you guys do for Easter?
I will now love and leave you all to it! Have a fabulous weekend and eat lots of eggs.
