I'm baaaaackkkk...again. Back from my second holiday this year - which actually was an incredibly spontaneous trip. My parents had booked a week away to Mallorca, whilst I was in the bath, oblivious to the world around me. I hope you are having a nice summer by the way, let's hope that we actually get some decent sun in England in the next few weeks though. I would like to keep my tan topped up, don't you know?!
Well the holiday was different to what we usually go on. As I am from a family of 5 we tend to stay in villas where we cook our own food or go out to various different restaurants but on this holiday we went to an all inclusive hotel, as that was the last minute deal my parents could find. Our hotel was "HSM Canarios Park" and although I had a really nice time there, enjoying the sun and relaxing, I don't think I'd recommend it. It just wasn't our cup of tea - there was the same food options everyday, the pools were very very very busy, the rooms were basic (but they're only to sleep in) and the toilets were smelly BUT regardless of that, I still had a nice time with my family. We played cards in the evenings whilst drinking as many Schnapps Slushies as I wanted, and I got to read the books that had been stuck on my shelf for months! I managed to boost the tan I was started to lose from Portugal, and we all had a nice break so I am more than grateful to my parents. Oh and although hilly to get down to the beach coves, they were still absolutely beautiful - no stones in sight! The sea was clear and blue and I had heard people talking about all the fish they could see! I wasn't actually able to go very deep because I don't have the strength yet in my knees so me and my mum just paddled - but we very much enjoyed it overall. :D

As lovely as it is to get away from the world to ignore everything that is happening, I always find it really odd when I come home as I just feel totally out of the loop. We usually watch the news of an evening and I'm always reading MailOnline or BBC News headlines on my phone when I'm at home but I just didn't whilst away. I didn't even know that Zayn had dumped Perrie (that was the most shocking story) and whether or not the chaos at the channel tunnel was still occuring. Do you get what I mean though? I felt like I needed to trawl through the BBC News page to get myself up to date. How sad!! |
One of the really good things I was looking forward to was not just my own bed but the amount TV episodes I needed to binge watch so that I was at the latest one aired. I had Eastenders (don't judge), Pretty Little Liars (I had missed a few weeks - but OMG we find out who A is in the next one!!!!) and some other ones that have somehow escaped my mind at the moment. I have already caught up on the 2 mentioned so I'll be back to normal soon enough.
Sooooooooo, thank you Mum&Dad for our holiday, hope the rest of you have had a good summer so far and I'll chat soon,
